Wisconsin Council on Recycling
The Wisconsin Council on Recycling, authorized in s. 287.22, Wis. Stats., is a citizens group, appointed by the governor, to advise the governor, Legislature and state agencies on solid waste reduction, recovery and recycling policy. The DNR staffs the council. Each member is appointed for a four-year term expiring on the date of commencement of the next gubernatorial term. Interim members' appointments also expire on that date. Current members include individuals representing industry, business, non-profit organizations and local units of government.

- David Pellitteri (vice-chair), vice president of finance and development, Pellitteri Waste Systems
- Heidi Woelfel (secretary), project manager, GZA GeoEnvironmental
- John Anderson, retired, Office of Senator Mark Miller
- Jarrod Holter, city engineer/director of public works, city of Onalaska
- David Keeling, regional sales manager, Appliance Recycling Centers of America
- Marty Oxman, account executive, BlackBridge Investments
Upcoming meetings
The next meeting of the Council on Recycling will take place Dec. 5 at 10 a.m. via Zoom/conference call. Agenda topics include Wisconsin Public Records Law Training, DNR and legislative updates, recycling administrative code revision updates, battery recycling at Redwood Materials, Council priorities (including discussion of a letter to the Governor/Legislature) and more.
