Kimberly-Clark's Neenah Cold Spring facility in Winnebago County is in Tier 1 of the Green Tier program. Kimberly-Clark and its well-known global brands, such as Kleenex, Scott, Huggies, Pull-Ups, Kotex®, Poise® and Depend®, are an indispensable part of life for people in more than 175 countries. Kimberly-Clark's Neenah Cold Spring facility is the second of Kimberly-Clark’s facilities to enter the Green Tier Program. The Kimberly-Clark Experimental Mill has been in Tier 2 of the Green Tier program since 2012.
Environmental activities
Kimberly-Clark's global sustainability program guides the development of environmental objectives, identifies areas of continuous improvement, and helps set targets for its facilities and offices around the world.
Kimberly-Clark's Neenah Cold Spring facility has already taken a number of actions to improve their environmental performance, recycling 97% of their manufacturing waste (product cut outs, cardboard, poly-wrap, packaging materials, scrap wood products) and 100 percent of their universal waste (lamps, bulbs, batteries, used oil, anti-freeze and scrap metal waste).
