Approved Green Tier/EMS auditors
Green Tier law, §299.83, requires that participants in the program have their environmental management system (EMS) audited by an "outside environmental auditor" at regular intervals; every third year for Tier 1 participants and every year for those in Tier 2. The law also states that the outside environmental auditor be approved by the department, §299.83(7m).
A list of approved Green Tier auditors is below. These auditors have demonstrated to the department that they meet the requirements of an outside environmental auditor, as defined in Green Tier law.
If you are interested in becoming an approved Green Tier auditor, or would like your current auditor to be approved, we have developed an auditor approval process (CO-519).
