Directions
The Northern Unit of the Kettle Moraine State Forest is a linear property spread out over 22 miles between Glenbeulah and West Bend. Check-in for camping is not required. Campers should go directly to the campsite where they are staying. Campers should check their confirmation letter for the campground name and address of the reservation. Campground directions are also available below.

Office Hours
The forest is open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.
The Forest Headquarters is open Mondays through Thursdays 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Fridays, as available. Hours may vary. The headquarters is closed Saturdays and Sundays.
The Henry S. Reuss Ice Age Visitor Center is open Fridays through Sundays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Hours may vary based on staff availability. The visitor center is closed Mondays through Thursdays.
Fees
- A vehicle admission sticker is required.
- A state trail pass is required for bikers, horseback riders and cross-country skiers 16 years of age and older.
- Camping rates vary and are based on residency, campsite type and season.
- Hunting and fishing licenses apply.
- The Kettle Moraine State Forest-Northern Unit is part of the Ice Age National Scientific Reserve and Federal passes are honored. Holders of National Parks passports receive a waiver of the vehicle admission fees, but camping fees are not affected.
