A VEER Review is an ER Review completed by department staff in a guaranteed turnaround time of seven working days. Customers still have the option to use the regular ER Review service for a lower cost. The turnaround time for regular ER Reviews varies depending on workload and staffing.

Fees

A minimum $420 fee for a VEER Review is invoiced to the requester, which covers up to three hours of work. Each additional hour or portion thereof required to complete the VEER Review is $140.

Availability and processing

A completed VEER Review is equivalent in all respects to a standard ER Review, with the exception that it is completed within a guaranteed seven-business-day timeframe.*

The ER Review Program can provide VEER Review services only after confirming that the project is eligible. Upon receipt of all required materials, the ER Review Program will notify the applicant whether a VEER Review can be completed for the project.

*Note: State legal holidays are not considered working days. These days are: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Eve Day.
