Multiple State Agencies Responding To PFAS Contamination On French Island
The Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Department of Health Services (DHS), Wisconsin Air National Guard (WANG) and Wisconsin Emergency Management (WEM) are taking steps to provide bottled water to residents with private wells that are impacted or suspected to be impacted by PFAS contamination on French Island in La Crosse County.

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) today announced the City of Beaver Dam is an applicant for funding through the Safe Drinking Water Loan Program (SDWLP) to address deficiencies in its public drinking water system. The projects primarily include the replacement of lead service lines throughout the City of Beaver Dam.
