The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) will host a preliminary public hearing on July 8 to discuss a scope statement that relates to the sturgeon spearing harvest regulations and the use of technology during the Winnebago System sturgeon spearing season.

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) today announced the City of Shawano is an applicant for funding through the Safe Drinking Water Loan Program (SDWLP) and Clean Water Fund Program (CWFP) to address deficiencies in its public drinking water and wastewater systems. These projects include the replacement of water mains, sanitary sewers and lead service lines throughout the City of Shawano.

DNR And Partners Team Up To Improve 2,000 Acres Of Pollinator Habitat In Southwestern Wisconsin

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR), the Natural Resources Foundation of Wisconsin and the Driftless Area Land Conservancy are teaming up to improve nearly 2,000 acres of pollinator habitat on public and private lands in southwestern Wisconsin. Federally endangered rusty patched bumble bees, monarch butterflies, regal fritillary butterflies and other at-risk pollinators will benefit from the work.
