Details 

The Wisconsin DNR will host two online Listening Sessions regarding PFAS contamination in Marinette, Peshtigo and surrounding communities. The online sessions will be conducted via Zoom at noon and 6 p.m. Participants are encouraged to submit questions in advance by email to DNRJCIPFAS@wisconsin.gov or by telephone at 888-626-3244.

An agenda and additional information for these sessions will be posted on the Marinette and Peshtigo PFAS webpage.

Representatives from several DNR programs will participate in these sessions to answer questions and hear concerns from community members regarding the PFAS cleanup and investigation.

The Rules and Regulations Committee of the Wildlife Rehabilitation Advisory Council is meeting to review and discuss the Wildlife Rehabilitation Sponsor Designation Request form for any recommended revisions. Advanced Wildlife Rehabilitator license holders are required to use this form to apply for designation as a sponsor. Advanced licensees may volunteer to sponsor or provide consultation and advice to basic licensees.
