Microsoft Mount Pleasant Data Centers, located at 4800 90th Street, Mount Pleasant, Racine County, Wisconsin, FID 252302490, submitted to the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) a permit application, including plans and specifications for construction of six (6) data centers and revision of permit conditions for two (2) data centers, and revision of operation permit 25230249A-F02.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, pursuant to ss. 285.13(1), 285.61(7), and 285.62(5) Wis. Stats., DNR will hold a public hearing to receive public comments on the air pollution control permit application(s) described herein. The public hearing will be held on Dec. 2, 2024, at 2:00 pm. This hearing will be held virtually.

All comments received by the DNR at the public hearing and prior to the close of the comment period, will be considered prior to making a final decision regarding the proposed project. This is a public hearing on an emergency rule FH-16-24(E) to revise chs. NR 20 and 25, relating to the Lake Superior cisco and lake trout regulations.
The public has the opportunity to testify at the hearing. Registration will take place at the hearing by completing a Hearing Appearance Form. Pre-registration is also available and is strongly encouraged if you plan to provide spoken comments during the hearing. To pre-register, please download and complete the fillable Hearing Appearance Form and email the completed form as an attachment to Kari Lee-Zimmermann at Kari.LeeZimmermann@Wisconsin.gov.

Dairyland Power CCR Landfill Initial Permitting Public Meeting

The Department of Natural Resources determined that the plan of operation modification report for Dairyland Power Coop Phase IV Alma Offsite Ash Disposal Facility (Phase IV Landfill, License #4126) is complete.
In accordance with the procedures of s. NR 514.045, Wis. Adm. Code, the plan of operation modification report is a proposed update to the approved plan of operation to comply with the applicable requirements under chs. NR 500 through 520, Wis. Adm. Code for CCR landfills. In 2022, sections of chs. NR 500 through NR 520, Wis. Adm. Code were updated for CCR landfills to meet federal CCR rule requirements. The landfill is located in Section 13, T21N, R13W, Town of Alma, Buffalo County, WI.
Pursuant to section NR 514.045(3), Wis. Adm. Code, written comments by any person concerning the proposed plan of operation modification for initial permitting of the CCR landfill are invited. All written comments shall be submitted by Jan. 2, 2025. The Snowmobile Recreation Council carries out studies and makes recommendations to the Legislature, Governor, Department of Natural Resources and Department of Transportation on all matters related to the snowmobiling program affecting snowmobiles and snowmobiling in Wisconsin. It also makes recommendations to the Department of Natural Resources regarding funding grant applications.
