DNR Seeking Public Comment For Environmental Review Of Cudahy And Sheboygan Safe Drinking Water Loan Program Projects

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) today announced the cities of Cudahy and Sheboygan are applicants for funding through the Safe Drinking Water Loan Program (SDWLP) to inprove their public drinking water systems. The projects include the replacement of lead service lines.

New Baiting And Feeding Ban For Calumet County Effective Oct. 13

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) was recently notified by the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) that a farm-raised deer on a deer farm in Outagamie County tested positive for chronic wasting disease (CWD). This positive result is within 10 miles of the Calumet, Waupaca and Winnebago county borders, and will enact a new baiting and feeding ban to go into effect in Calumet County on Oct. 13, 2023.

Wisconsin's 2023 Pheasant Season Opens Saturday, Oct. 14

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) reminds hunters that the state's 2023 pheasant season opens at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14 and will run through Sunday, Jan. 7, 2024.
