We Energies-Oak Creek Power Plant, located at 11060 S Chicago Rd, Oak Creek, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, FID 241007690, submitted to the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) a permit application, including plans and specifications for revision of 24100769A-P37 for operation of a Electric Power Generation facility; and the construction and operation of: five simple cycle combustion turbine electric generating units (CTGs) with a total electric generating capacity of approximately 1,200 MW; a 2.0 billion standard cubic foot Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) storage facility; and other equipment required to support this new generation. This project will also increase the use of natural gas in the Elm Road Generating Station Units 1 and 2 to the full rated capacity of these units.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the State of Wisconsin Division of Hearings and Appeals will hold a contested case hearing on the above-captioned matter pursuant to Wis. Stat. § 227.44, Wis. Admin. Code § NR 2.13 and Wis. Admin. Code § HA 1.12 at the Green Lake County Government Center, Second Floor – Courtroom 2, 571 County Road A, Green Lake, Wisconsin on April 29, 2025 and continuing if necessary on April 30 and May 1, 2025, commencing at 9 a.m. each day. Members of the public desiring to participate in this hearing pursuant to Wis. Admin. Code § NR 2.08 will be allowed the opportunity to do so at the end of the presentation of evidence. Such interested persons must enter an appearance either prior to or at the commencement of the contested case hearing.
