This is the DNR's annual SWIP Meeting.

This year's topics will include: Waste and Materials Management Program updates, Program financial updates, an overview of 2024 recycling data, information on the planned implementation and resources for the landfill rule changes that will go into effect on Oct. 1, implementation for the recycling rule changes that went into effect on July 1, proposed language for the revised solid waste code regulating transfer facilities, an overview of the DNR's food waste evaluation results, and a presentation on battery fires in the industry.
