Details 

This is a preliminary hearing on SS 060-22 (Board Order WA-11-21) for proposed rules to incorporate federal hazardous waste regulations promulgated since the previous authorization of the Wisconsin hazardous waste program, relating to updated test methods.

This hearing will also include the preliminary public hearing on Statement of Scope SS 061-22 (Board Order WA-12-21), revisions to chs. NR 600 to 679 to modify and expand universal waste management regulations.

This hearing will also include the preliminary public hearing on Statement of Scope SS 062-22 (Board Order WA-14-21), revisions to chs. NR 660 to 679 related to technical corrections of state hazardous waste regulations.

Pre-registration is strongly encouraged if you plan to provide spoken comments during the hearing. To pre-register, please save and complete the fillable hearing appearance form and submit it to Catherine.Baerwald@wisconsin.gov.

You may also submit written comments on the scope statement to DNRAdministrativeRulesComments@wisconsin.gov by 11:59 p.m. on Oct. 6, 2022. Written comments will have the same weight and effect as oral statements presented at the public hearing. Details 

The Snowmobile Recreation Council carries out studies and makes recommendations to the Legislature, Governor, Department of Natural Resources and Department of Transportation on all matters related to the snowmobiling program at DNR or otherwise affecting snowmobiles and snowmobiling in Wisconsin, and makes recommendations to the DNR with regard to funding grant applications.

The Snowmobile Recreation Council will meet to discuss topics pertaining to the program, and make funding recommendations to the department. The Off-Highway Motorcycle Council provides advice and makes recommendations to the Department of Natural Resources, the Department of Transportation, the Governor, and the legislature on all matters relating to off-highway motorcycle trails, including matters relating to activities conducted on off-highway motorcycle trails and by off-highway motorcycle users, and makes recommendations to the department of natural resources with regard to requests for funding.

The Off-Highway Motorcycle Council will meet to make funding recommendations to the department. In particular, the council will review updated information on projects discussed at the previous meeting. The public will be invited to join the meeting via Zoom or in person.
