Wildcat Mountain State Park

Wildcat Mountain State Park has an upper picnic area with a reservable shelter and playground, a lower picnic area along the Kickapoo River with a shelter (non-reservable) and a picnic area at the Ice Cave trail parking lot.

Shelters and amphitheater

There are two shelters and an amphitheater at Wildcat Mountain State Park. The upper picnic shelter and amphitheater can be reserved.

Upper picnic shelter

The upper picnic shelter is reservable. It is an attractive 32-foot octagonal shape that can accommodate 40 or more people. A large picnic grill is available just outside the shelter, picnic tables are under roof and nearby, a drinking fountain is nearby and a vault toilet is just a short walk away. This shelter is situated near the playground equipment, making it a great place for gatherings of all ages. No electricity.

Lower picnic area shelter

The lower picnic area (canoe launch area) has a 30 x 38-foot open shelter with large picnic grill, picnic tables, drinking fountain and vault toilets nearby. This shelter is ADA accessible. This shelter is first-come, first-served (non-reservable). No electricity.

Park amphitheater

Wildcat Mountain State Park has an amphitheater that is available for reservation. The amphitheater has a capacity of 100 and has electricity. Vault toilets are nearby.
