Wisconsin is a beautiful state to photograph any time of year and there is no better place to enjoy the state’s seasonal offerings than Wisconsin’s State Parks. If you enjoy photography and would like to submit some of your best photos, check below for deadlines, entry rules and contest information.

Friends of Wisconsin State Parks

The Friends of Wisconsin State Parks (FWSP) holds an annual photography contest. Winning submissions are chosen for the Friends’ Calendar with 100 percent of the Calendar proceeds going to FWSP to aid local friends groups.

Office of the Great Lakes

The Office of the Great Lakes holds an annual photography and writing contest. Winning submissions are chosen for the Great Lakes Calendar. Writing submissions may also be featured in the calendar and on the DNR website and other publications.

Buckhorn/Roche-A-Cri State Parks

Buckhorn and Roche-A-Cri state parks hold an annual photography contest. Photographs can be entered in the categories of wildlife, people using the park, open (landscapes, etc.) and youth (for photographers 18 and younger). Prizes are awarded.

Council Grounds State Park

The Council Grounds State Park photo contest is organized by the Park's Friends Group. Come enjoy the Park and remember to bring a camera along to take photos for the contest!
