2026 Road Construction and Boat Launch Closures

A large road construction project will be taking place at Mirror Lake State Park throughout 2026 that will affect availability of the Sandstone Ridge and Cliffwood campgrounds, including the accessible cabin and the boat landing parking lot and boat launch. Kayak rentals are available at the beach. 

Please keep out of any areas posted as closed.

Campgrounds: Sandstone Ridge and Cliffwood campgrounds, including the accessible cabin, are open with construction continuing for the main park road and boat landing area. Campers can expect construction noise, traffic control and periodic delays while traveling through the park.

Boat Launch and Fishing Pier: The boat landing area, including the parking lot, launch, picnic area, fishing pier and vault toilet be closed to use throughout most of the summer. Boat Rentals are available at the beach picnic area. The Town of Delton boat launch located on Lakeview Road off State Hwy. 23 on the west end of the lake is available for use.

Echo Rock Trailhead: Trailhead access to the Echo Rock Trail at the boat landing will be unavailable during construction. Hikers may access the Echo Rock Trail from the small parking lot in the Cliffwood Campground and via the Ishnala and Cliffwood Coulee trails.
