Mirror Lake State Park
Mountain Bike Trails are closed for the season. Bike trails are open May 1 – Oct. 31, weather permitting.
Hiking Trails: All trails are not open for hiking during the winter snow season. Once snow arrives for winter, most trails are designated for cross-country skiing and hiking/walking, snowshoeing and pets are not allowed on the ski trails. Trails open year-round for hiking include the Wild Rice, Lakeview, Echo Rock, Cliffwood Coulee, Sandstone Loop and Pulpit Rock trails.
Cross-Country Ski Trails: Ski trails are open for the winter season. All ski trails except the Newport Trail, are groomed for both classical/nordic and skate/Olympic skiing. Winter Camping: Sites 58 – 76 in the Sandstone Ridge campground are open. When snow arrives, the available sites will be 59-65. All campers must have a reservation before setting up camp. Vault toilets are available behind site 59 and water is available at the park entrance station.
Cliffwood and Bluewater Bay campgrounds and all shower and flush toilet buildings are closed for the season. The RV dump station is closed for the season.
The Cabin in the Woods is closed for the season. It will open for the season on May 15. Reservations for 2022 will be accepted starting Jan. 10. See the accessible cabin webpage for more details and the reservation form.
The Mirror Lake visitor center is open most days from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. If you arrive when the office is closed, the self-registration station is located next to the front door to purchase your park sticker.
