2026 Park Construction Notice

Beginning in late summer 2026, several construction projects will be taking place at Interstate Park that will affect availability of the beach lift station, the Meadow Valley shelter and other park facilities.

Beach Lift Station: Replacement of the beach lift station will begin in late summer/early fall 2026. All flush restrooms and water systems in the beach area (amphitheater, hilltop and at the beach house) will close down for the season when the beach lift station replacement begins. The vault toilets across from the playground will be open during construction. Beach access will be limited near the construction site and no changing facilities will be available. The water systems and restrooms in the campgrounds will not be affected by this construction.

Meadow Valley Shelter: The Meadow Valley shelter will be closed to use beginning in September 2026. Construction crews will be making structural repairs and replacing the roof. The shelter will reopen once all work has been completed in late fall/early winter.
