2026 Park Construction Notice
Beginning May 11, 2026, a roof replacement of the beach house will affect availability of the beach area. Road work on U.S. Highway 8 will also be taking place through May 2026.
Beach House: Construction on the beach house roof is scheduled to take place May 11-15, 2026. There will be restricted access to the beach area due to the construction. The beach house will be closed during construction. Work is anticipated to be completed by Friday, May 15, but is dependent on weather.
North Campground Access Road: Road work on the U.S. Highway 8 bridge going over the North Campground access road will occur through May 2026. Work will only occur during the week (Mondays through Fridays). There will still be access to the North Campground, but use caution while driving in this area.
