Buckhorn State Park
Buckhorn State Park provides a variety of recreation opportunities. In addition, the 1600-acre Buckhorn Wildlife Area and the 2,200-acre Yellow River Wildlife Area next to Buckhorn State Park offer many additional recreation opportunities, including different hunting seasons and access to the Castle Rock Flowage.

Buckhorn State Park offers several accessible opportunities including an accessible cabin, accessible campsites, accessible fishing piers, picnic shelters near the beach, a boat launch with an accessible boarding pier and a universal hunting blind. The park provides a variety of adaptive equipment including cross-country sit skis, an adaptive kayak and a beach wheelchair.

Biking
Biking is allowed on park roads. Bicycle rentals are available in season from the Friends of Buckhorn State Park for use in the park. Buckhorn State Park is close by the Elroy-Sparta State Trail and Omaha Trail.
