Blue Mound State Park is just north of the Village of Blue Mounds, about 25 miles west of Madison via US Highway 18/151.

By foot or bicycle, you can reach the park by way of the Military Ridge State Trail. The park access trail is about 0.7 miles west of Mounds Park Road on the Military Ridge Trail.

Hours

Blue Mound State Park is open year-round from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Parks Fees

• A vehicle admission sticker is required.
• Camping rates vary and are based on residency, campsite type and season.
• A state trail pass is required for bikers, horseback riders and skiers 16 years of age and older.
• Hunting and fishing licenses apply.
