Annual Drinking Water Reports

The DNR's annual drinking water report highlights efforts to help public water systems provide safe and adequate supplies of drinking water in our state. Wisconsin's 11,000+ public water systems have a high rate of compliance with water quality requirements: last year, more than 99% met the health-based drinking water standards.

The DNR is responsible for implementing the Safe Drinking Water Act to safeguard Wisconsin's drinking water. Publishing these annual reports fulfills one of Wisconsin's obligations under the Act.
