Wastewater Facility/Operator of the Year Awards
This award program was initiated in 2019 and includes all individual wastewater permit holders, with special emphasis on municipal systems. Nominations are made by department staff and are meant to recognize both facilities and operators for exceptional performance. Awards are presented at the Government Affairs Seminar in February. The department appreciates facilities and operators' daily commitment around the state to protect our natural resources.
