DNR Announces Grant To Build Hunting Community
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is now accepting applications for this year’s round of funding for the Hunting Recruitment, Retention and Reactivation (R3) grant program. Funding from the grant program is used to help grow the number of hunters in Wisconsin and expand hunter activities.

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) today announced the City of Washburn is an applicant for funding through the Safe Drinking Water Loan Program (SDWLP) to address deficiencies in its public drinking water system. The project includes the replacement of watermains and goosenecks on STH 13 from Thompson Creek to 2nd Ave. West, 8th Ave. from STH 13 to 4th St., 4th St. from Omaha St. to STH 13 and Washington Ave. from Omaha St. to STH 13.
