DNR Secretary Appoints Todd Ambs Deputy Secretary; Steven Little Assistant Deputy Secretary

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Secretary Preston D. Cole announced that DNR Assistant Deputy Secretary Todd Ambs will serve as DNR Deputy Secretary beginning Dec. 21, 2020, filling the role for Beth Bier who is leaving state service to become a full-time caregiver to her two young children.

Wisconsin DNR Announces Wolf Season Begins Nov. 6, 2021

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) today announced the official wolf season will begin Nov. 6, 2021.  The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will delist gray wolves from the federal list of endangered species on Jan. 4, 2021, returning management authority to the lower 48 states and tribes.
