The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) today announced the Village of Fox Point is an applicant for funding through the Safe Drinking Water Loan Program (SDWLP) to address deficiencies in its public drinking water system. The project includes the replacement of lead service lines throughout the Village of Fox Point.
Incidental Take Notice For Adams And Wood Counties
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) proposes to issue a permit for the "incidental taking" of a rare lizard, which may result from American Transmission Company’s (ATC) X-43 Soil Borings project. Incidental take refers to the unintentional loss of individual endangered or threatened animals or plants that does not put the species' overall population at risk.

This approval is the final step in the review process for the City of Waukesha’s application to divert Lake Michigan water for public water supply to the City of Waukesha, and return treated wastewater to Lake Michigan via the Root River.
