DNR Celebrates Successful 2022 Elk Hunting Season
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is celebrating a successful elk hunting season. The state’s fifth elk hunting season opened Saturday, Oct. 15 and closed Wednesday, Oct. 19 as a result of all four state licensed hunters filling their harvest authorizations.

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) today announced the Village of Denmark applied for funding through the Safe Drinking Water Loan Program (SDWLP) to address deficiencies in its public drinking water system. This project includes the construction of a new booster pump and metering station to allow a force main connection in the Village of Denmark.

This project includes the replacement of water mains and sanitary sewer on Sunset Lane, Greenbriar Drive, Meadowlark Lane, Blackhawk Lane and Ulland Street in the City of Westby.
Hunters Encouraged To Participate In DNR’s Deer Donation Program
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) encourages hunters to donate Wisconsin-harvested deer to the department’s Deer Donation Program. The program helps stock food pantries for the upcoming holiday season and supports residents in need throughout the state.
