Wisconsin DNR And Conservation Congress To Host Spring Hearings

The Wisconsin Conservation Congress (WCC) and Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) invite the public to attend spring hearings on Monday, April 14 at 6 p.m. to learn about resource management through the annual Fish and Wildlife Spring Hearing process. Additionally, an online opportunity for public input will be available from 7 p.m. April 14 through 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 16.

Incidental Take Notice For Columbia County

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) proposes to reissue an authorization for the incidental taking of a rare fish, which may result from the Interstate 39/90/94 Wisconsin River Bridge Project. This permit was previously issued on Oct. 10, 2024; however, there has been a change in project activities resulting in a larger footprint and different minimization and mitigation measures, so the DNR has determined that a new public notice is warranted.

Attend A Youth Fishing Clinic In Southeast Wisconsin On April 12

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) invites the public to attend a youth fishing clinic in southeast Wisconsin on Saturday, April 12, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The first youth fishing clinic in southeast Wisconsin was held 40 years ago. Come out and celebrate the anniversary of fishing education in the region at one of nine parks in Milwaukee and Washington counties.
