Inland Label & Marketing Services, LLC's Three La Crosse Locations Join DNR’s Green Tier Program

MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) today announced Inland Label & Marketing Services, LCC (Inland)'s three La Cross facilities were accepted into the Green Tier program. The facilities, located at 2009 West Avenue South, 3030 Airport Road and 672 Breezy Point Road in La Crosse join Inland’s Neenah location as Tier 1 participants. They now belong to a select group of organizations that are committed to environmental leadership.

Tier 1 of Green Tier encourages, recognizes and rewards companies committed to improved environmental outcomes. As a Tier 1 participant, Inland has implemented an environmental management system to help embed sustainability into its decision-making strategy.

“The DNR is proud to welcome these Inland Packaging facilities into Green Tier, expanding our partnership to include all the Inland locations in Wisconsin,” said James Yach, DNR Secretary’s Director for the West Central Region. “As each facility strives to reduce their environmental footprint, Inland continues to prove they are leaders in their communities and Wisconsin by managing operations to protect our shared natural resources into the future.”

Inland specializes in manufacturing labels and packaging for food, beverage and consumer products. Moving forward, the organization will continue its efforts to reduce landfill waste, energy use and volatile organic compound emissions, as well as begin working toward measuring and reducing their greenhouse gas emissions.
