This park is named for its centerpiece, a lake which often is so Locationcalm that not a ripple marks its surface. The lake reflects a wooded shoreline with cliffs up to 50 feet high, a swimming beach, and wetlands that are home to a variety of wildlife. The park's 2,200 acres includes several picnic areas, wooded campsites, summer rentals, and a cabin for people with disabilities.

Use your nature detective skills to try to identify and learn about some of the species that are native to Mirror Lake State Park.

We will take a walk back in time to explore the rich history of the private cottages that populated this part of the park in the years gone by.

Island Jack, based out of Wisconsin Dells, has been performing since 2002. They do Buffett, Blues Beach Music, Motown and lots more. They have opened for many national acts over the past few years and are very excited to perform at Mirror Lake!

Learn some basic fishing techniques and get to know some of the fish living in Mirror Lake.

We will explore the natural world around us through sight, touch and sound. We will meet at 6 p.m. in the upper picnic/shelter area at the beach for quick introductions. Feel free to bring a sack supper with you.

Learn about the geology of the area, witness the overlooked beauty and hear about the history of those who lived in the park before it was a park.

Meet at the park office for a guided hike with a local expert and the naturalist looking for some of the common mushrooms that may be found in the park while also learning about the treasures that we find!

Meet the naturalist down at the beach to learn about some of the native trees on the property at Mirror Lake State Park and others that inhabit Wisconsin. There will be various items to look at and many examples- you can touch and explore yourself!

Join the naturalist on a stroll of Echo Rock Trail and Ishnala Trail where you will learn about the geology of the area, witness the overlooked beauty and hear about the history of those who lived in the park before it was a park.
