Learn to Cook Wild Game

If you're curious to learn how to cook game birds or want to kick your cooking up a notch, join John Motoviloff of Pheasants Forever for a fun and informal class at Havenwoods State Forest. Participants will learn techniques for keeping game moist and tender and will be able to sample pheasant cooked two ways: fast and hot and low and slow. In addition, there will be a discussion (and sampling of) beverage pairings, side dishes, and flavors that complement wild game. Recipes will be provided as well as a chance to purchase John's cookbook, Wild Rice Goose and Other Dishes of the Upper Midwest.
