Pudgy Pie Demo

Description

Meet Pudgy Pie Guy Jon Riemann for a pie iron cooking demonstration at the Beach Shelter at 11 a.m. Join the fun and learn some history about cooking over a fire, the sandwich and the pie iron. He’ll demonstrate how to make pizzas, Reubens, macaroni and cheese and fruit-filled pies. Jon provides the gear and food; you put it together! Children must be accompanied by an adult. Everyone will have the opportunity to make their own pudgy pie, so bring a beverage to go with it. Meet Jon and the Naturalist at the amphitheater and park nearby in the upper Beach lot. The event is free, but a vehicle admission sticker is required.
