Join the Becoming an Outdoors-Woman (BOW) Weekend Sampler this September at Wisconsin Lion's Camp in Rosholt for an unforgettable outdoor adventure designed for women ages 18 and older. Set on the scenic shores of Lions Lake, this immersive Wisconsin outdoor retreat offers hands-on classes, outdoor recreation and relaxing camp experiences in a welcoming, supportive environment.

Participants can explore activities such as fishing, archery, canoeing, shooting sports, outdoor cooking, hiking, nature journaling and adventure challenges while building confidence and connecting with others who share a love of the outdoors. The weekend also includes yoga, campfires, wagon rides, paddling and plenty of time to enjoy the beauty of Central Wisconsin. The BOW Weekend Sampler is perfect for beginners and experienced outdoor enthusiasts alike!


Workshop Includes

  • Eight unique outdoor classes.
    • Choose two hands-on learning sessions.
  • Expert instructors and supportive coaches.
    • Two nights lodging at the Wisconsin Lion’s Camp Lodging is duplex cabins with a modern bath and showers on each side. Rooms will have 5-8 people each.
    • Roommate requests are welcome and can be entered when registering.
    • Single rooms are not available for this workshop.
  • Four meals included.
  • All equipment and materials provided. 
    • You will need a valid Wisconsin fishing license to participate in the Pontoon Fishing class, or if you want to fish from the docks during free time.
  • Evening programs and social events.
