Discover how to make the most of your venison through hands-on instruction and cooking demonstrations. Participants will learn about:
- How to break down deer quarters into major cuts of meat.
- The best uses of each cut.
- Basic deer processing techniques.
- Proper meat care and packaging.
- Food safety best practices.
- Tips for preparing delicious venison meals.
The class also includes venison cooking demonstrations, recipes and samples to help you confidently prepare meals your whole family will enjoy. Please wear clothes and footwear appropriate for working with wild game. All necessary equipment will be provided during the class.
