Historic Maple Syrup Cooking Demo

Description

Stop in anytime between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to experience some maple syrup cooking! Learn how Native Americans and early settlers used to cook maple sap, and why this was such an important resource. Visitors are welcome to taste the sap as it’s cooking. Children welcome! 

This event will be held rain or shine.

Event Location: Whitefish Dunes State Park - Event held at the Ciporoke behind the Nature Center on the Red Trail. Signs will be posted directing visitors to the area.
