Partridge Trail Hike

Description

Join us on the Partridge Trail. The trail has a fairly flat and level surface, with some curves and slight hills. This 1.7-mile trail goes through woods and barrens area. This hike may take about 1.5 hours on average. There is an option to hike to the pond and back to the campground (1.2 miles). A flush toilet, pit toilet (non-flush) and drinking water fountains are at the south shelter.

Meet at Hunter Lot A, parking for sites 17-19 at the “T intersection,"1.2 miles south of the Park Office. A vehicle admission pass is required for entry and can be purchased online or at the Park Office upon arrival. One all terrain wheelchair is available for use at this event and can be reserved online.

This event is recommended for all abilities and ages; please leave pets at home. This event will happen in any weather, rain or shine. Dress according to the weather.

Consider bringing a water bottle, snacks, insect repellent, boots and rain gear.
