The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is hosting the Waste and Materials Management Study Group meeting. The agenda will be posted on the Waste and Materials Management Study Group webpage and will include the following:
- DNR updates
- Solid Waste Infrastructure for Recycling (SWIFR) grant update
- Legislative Updates, including 2023 WI Act 107 (municipal net worth) and WI Act 108 (E-cycle updates)
- Update on the draft landfill and recycling rulemaking efforts
- Discussion on co-locating composting operations at landfill sites
