Status of SO3404 - Declaring “Sq***” a Derogatory Term and Implementing Procedures to Remove the Term from Federal Usage. 20 minutes
- Review federal decisions regarding Sq*** feature names in Wisconsin with an opportunity for the Council to ask questions and seek advice on next potential steps. -
Status of SO3405 - Addressing Other Derogatory Geographic Names. 20 minutes
- Understand processes, timeline and opportunities for state participation in this broader “phase II” derogatory name review.
