The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) will host the PFAS Technical Group via Zoom.

The director of the University of Rhode Island’s Superfund Research Center will present the concept of “essential use” of PFAS and how it can be used to determine the feasibility of elimination or substitution of PFAS in various product categories.

The PFAS Technical Group is a working group designed as a forum to present and discuss information related to perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in Wisconsin, with an emphasis on presentations from entities outside of DNR. This group does not have an appointed membership; any interested party may attend.

The public is invited to participate and may ask questions or provide comments at this meeting. Questions may also be submitted in advance to DNRPFASInquiries@wisconsin.gov. More information on this meeting, including a Zoom link and an agenda, can be found at the PFAS Technical Group webpage.
