Agenda topics for the council include DNR and legislative updates, organics and battery management updates (with introduction of new staff), paper cup and foodservice packaging recycling, a Wisconsin Composting Council update, overview of Brown County's resource recovery operations and more.
A complete agenda can be found on the Wisconsin Council on Recycling's webpage. Following the business meeting, a tour of Brown County's recycling transfer station and hazardous material recovery operations will be provided. Tour participants must wear long pants, closed-toe shoes and high-vis vests. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own vest if available; vests will also be available on-site.
