ANNUAL SPRING HEARING AND PUBLIC INPUT OPPORTUNITY
Wisconsin Conservation Congress
The 2027 Spring Hearings will be held in each county in person on April 12 and online from 6 p.m. April 12 through midnight April 15. The annual Spring Hearing is an opportunity for the public to provide input on a wide array of natural resources-related proposed rule change questions presented by the DNR and advisory questions presented by the Conservation Congress.
The public also has the opportunity to provide input on resolutions submitted by members of the public in compliance with the provided criteria: WCC Resolution Process. Resolutions for consideration at the 2027 Spring Hearings may be submitted online between Aug. 1, 2026 and Feb. 8, 2027 through the an online link (coming soon). Resolutions may also be submitted on April 12 at the in-person Spring Hearings held in each county. Resolutions received online and in person will be reviewed and remediated where appropriate by WCC delegates before or following the spring hearing, respectively.
Public input received through this process is advisory to Natural Resources Board members, DNR staff and anyone working on these issues.
