NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, September 25, 2018, the Wisconsin Natural Resources Board will tour and/or receive presentations at the following locations (NOTE: The public must register with Board Liaison to attend scheduled tours. Registration information is located on the last page of the agenda. Exact tour schedule is subject to change). 1) The Board will arrive at Flat Creek Inn and Suites, 10290 Highway 27 South, Hayward, at approximately 11:15 a.m. for lunch (No Board business will be discussed.). 2) At approximately 12:30 p.m., the Board will arrive at 00 Trailhead of the American Birkebeiner Ski Trail System, 13088 W County Highway 00, Hayward, for a presentation on recreational trails and recreational opportunities to include trail development & enhancement, DNR funding opportunities and permit requirements, and economic impacts. 3) At approximately 1:45 p.m., the Board will arrive at North End Trailhead of the American Birkebeiner Ski Trail System, 41326 Randysek Road, Cable, for a presentation on collaborative forest management and recreational opportunities. 4) At approximately 3:20 p.m., the Board will arrive at Forest Lodge guesthouse building, 22230 Garmisch Road, Cable, for a presentation on Forest Lodge property overview and a presentation on fisheries management/muskellunge. 5) At approximately 4:30 p.m., the Board will arrive at Day Lake – Boat Landing Campground, Day Lake Boat Landing Road and County M (East of White Bass Road on M)County Road GG and Day Acres Road, Clam Lake [If raining, tour #5 will be moved to Clam Lake Community Club, 2236 Clam Lake Street, Clam Lake.], for a presentation on elk management to include 2018 elk season, partnerships, and status of the elk herd. NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Wisconsin Natural Resources Board meeting will convene at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 26, 2018, in Rooms A and B (Grand Ballroom) at Flat Creek Inn & Suites, 10290 Highway 27 South, Hayward. The Board will act on items 1-2 and 5-6 as listed on the Agenda.
