NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, June 21, 2016, the Wisconsin Natural Resources Board will tour and/or receive presentations at the following locations (NOTE: The public must preregister with Board Liaison to attend scheduled tours. Registration information is located on the last page of the agenda. Exact tour schedule is subject to change). 1) The Board will arrive at approximately 11:15 a.m. at the Rockbridge Sawmill, 19717 State Highway 80, Richland Center, WI to participate in a tour. 2) At approximately 12:30 p.m. the Board will receive a presentation at Rockbridge Sawmill (same address as tour stop 1); topic: Forest products industry in Southwest Wisconsin. 3) At approximately 1:45 p.m., the Board will arrive at David and Sue Weigandt's property (private woodland owner), 22880 Fancy Creek Lane, Richland Center, WI for a tour and presentation; topic: Private forest management in Southwest Wisconsin. 4) At approximately 3:30 p.m. the Board will arrive at Foggy Bottom Woodworks, 1145 East Industrial Drive, Muscoda, WI for a tour and presentation; topic: Primary and secondary wood products from a small business perspective. Approximate end of tours: 4:30 p.m.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Wisconsin Natural Resources Board will convene at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 22, 2016, Ramada Inn, 1450 Veterans Drive, Richland Center, Wisconsin. The Board will act on items 1-2 and 5-6 as listed on the Agenda.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at approximately 10:15 a.m., the Wisconsin Natural Resources Board will meet in closed session under the authority of s.19.85(1)(g) Wisconsin Statutes for the purpose of discussing litigation matters.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that matters concerning natural resource issues or the Department's program responsibilities or operations specified in the Wisconsin Statutes, which arise after publication of this agenda may be added to the agenda and publicly noticed no less than two hours before the scheduled board meeting, if the Board Chair determines that the matter is urgent.
