NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Natural Resources Board meeting will convene at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 11, 2013, in Room G09, State Natural Resources Building (GEF 2), 101 South Webster Street, Madison, Wisconsin. The Board will act on items 1-3 and 6-7 as listed on the Agenda.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at approximately noon, the Natural Resources Board will meet in closed session in conference room 813, State Natural Resources Building (GEF 2), 101 South Webster Street, Madison, Wisconsin under the authority of s.19.85(1)(g) Wisconsin Statutes for purposes of discussing litigation matters and under the authority of s.19.36(1) Wisconsin Statutes for purposes of discussing personnel matters.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that matters concerning natural resource issues or the Department's program responsibilities or operations specified in the Wisconsin Statutes, which arise after publication of this agenda may be added to the agenda and publicly noticed no less than two hours before the scheduled board meeting, if the Board Chair determines that the matter is urgent.

      1. Lake Michigan Air Directors Consortium will donate air monitoring equipment, computer hardware and computer software valued at $100,164 to be used to monitor air quality and various meteorological parameters, model air quality, and estimate pollutant emissions (PDF)
      2. The Friends of Crex will donate $40,000 to fund the design and construction of a new mess hall at Crex Meadows Wildlife Area in partnership with NWCE and the DNR (PDF)
      3. The Northwest Wisconsin Concentrated Employment Program, Inc. (NWCE) will donate $20,000 to fund the design and construction of a new mess hall at Crex Meadows Wildlife Area in partnership with The Friends of Crex and the DNR (PDF)
      4. The Natural Resources Foundation of Wisconsin will donate $28,309 from the Lower Wisconsin State Riverway Fund to support wildlife habitat restoration and management activities along the Lower Wisconsin State Riverway (PDF)
      5. The Watertown Outboarders Club will donate $25,000 to be used to install an accessible pier and boat launching facility; any remaining funds will be used for other improvements on site as determined by the DNR (PDF)
