NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, March 27, 2007, the Natural Resources Board will convene from 2 p.m.- 4:30 p.m. in Room G09, State Natural Resources Building (GEF 2), Madison, Wisconsin. The Board will have a listening session on baiting and feeding. Modified

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that on Tuesday, March 27, 2007, the Natural Resources Board will arrive at approximately 6 p.m. for dinner at Tutto Pasta Cucina Italiana in Madison, Wisconsin. At approximately 8 p.m. the Board will arrive at Concourse Hotel in Madison.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that on Wednesday, March 28, 2007 the Natural Resources Board will meet with leaders from various environmental groups for breakfast at 7 a.m. at the Concourse Hotel in Madison. Topics being discussed may include non-point, energy/climate change, buffer initiatives, stewardship, mercury, exotics, NR 115, Great Lakes, ground water, and WLCV Lobby Day.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Natural Resources Board will convene at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 28, 2007, in Room G09, State Natural Resources Building (GEF 2), Madison, Wisconsin. The Board will act on items 1-7 as listed on the Agenda.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that matters concerning natural resource issues or the Department's program responsibilities or operations specified in the Wisconsin Statutes, which arise after publication of this agenda may be added to the agenda and publicly noticed no less than two hours before the scheduled board meeting, if the Board Chair determines that the matter is urgent.

      1. The Friends of Kohler-Andrae, Inc. will donate $77,000 to Kohler-Andrae State Park in the form of an accessible cabin for people with disabilities to be built in the park’s family campground area.
      2. The estate of Lyle Hougan will donate $60,000 to the Lake Kegonsa State Park.
      3. The Mead Grounds Association will donate $30,374.24 for facilities on the grounds of George W. Mead Wildlife Area.
      4. The Lapham Peak Friends will donate $26,000 to the Department for the development of a Snowmaking system and pond at the Lapham Peak Unit of the Kettle Moraine State Forest.
      5. The Natural Resources Foundation is donating $202,717 to the Endangered Resources Program to be used for stocking and monitoring the American marten, monitoring Kirtland's warblers, wood turtle field studies, State Natural Areas Program support, and printing the Central Sands guidebook of the Great Wisconsin Birding & Nature Trail.
