Public Participation Deadline: Requests to testify and/or submit written comments must be received by the NRB Liaison no later than 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 18, 2025.

The Natural Resources Board will meet in-person. Remote testimony from the public via Zoom may be accepted for this meeting. In-person public appearances are also welcome. Members of the public can submit their request to testify remotely, in-person, or their written comments by the posted deadline date for Board consideration.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, the Wisconsin Natural Resources Board will tour and/or receive presentations at the following locations: 1) At approximately 10 a.m., the Board will meet at The Stella Hotel, 5706 8th Ave., Kenosha, WI 53140, for presentations on the Kenosha Dunes, a DNR budget update, Wisconsin’s ozone nonattainment area, and the American Motors Corp, Chrysler factory site clean-up and lunch. 2) At approximately 12:50 p.m., the Board will arrive at Lamparek Creek / Data Center Campus (Lat: 42.67671° N, Lon: 87.91423° W) for presentations on data center development projects and Lamparek Creek restoration. 3) At approximately 1:30 p.m., the Board will arrive at the Pike River North Branch and Regenerative Stormwater Conveyance, Thurston Howell Trail parking area, 7440 County Line Rd. Mt. Pleasant, WI 53403, for presentations on urban stormwater collection systems that promote infiltration. 4) At approximately 2:45 p.m., the Board will arrive at the Kenosha Sand Dunes, 8401 7th Avenue Kenosha, WI 53140, for a brief walking tour and presentations on coastal erosion, land acquisition and stewardship, the Great Lakes dune system, and ozone transport and lake breeze dynamics. The tours will conclude at approximately 3:45 p.m. No action will be taken. Note: Members of the public must pre-register with the Board Liaison to attend scheduled tours The exact tour schedule is subject to change.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at 5 p.m., the Wisconsin Natural Resources Board and members of the Wisconsin Conservation Congress, will have a social and dinner gathering in the Admiral’s Room at the Boathouse Dockside Pub & Eatery, 4917 7th Ave., Kenosha, WI 53140. No action will be taken.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Wisconsin Natural Resources Board meeting will convene at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at the University of Wisconsin–Parkside, Student Center, 900 Wood Road, Kenosha, WI 53141 (Lat: 42.64782° N, Lon: 87.85484° W). Parking is available in Lot A. The Board will take action on agenda items 1–4 and 7.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that matters concerning natural resource issues or the Department’s program responsibilities or operations specified in the Wisconsin Statutes, which arise after publication of this agenda may be added to the agenda and publicly noticed no less than two hours before the scheduled board meeting, if the Board Chair determines that the matter is urgent.

    2. Acknowledgment of Donation –The Friends of Blue Mound State Park donated upgrades to electrical services and infrastructure valued at $25,000. This donation will be used to improve services at the open shelter and build infrastructure for future park projects at Blue Mound State Park

The time for item 5. – Open Forum - will be after items 1-4 or immediately following the morning break at approximately 10:15 a.m. If you request to testify during Open Forum, please be ready to speak when the Board takes up this item. Each speaker will have three minutes to give their testimony; however, the Board Chair has final discretion on time limit.

The following is from the Board’s meeting guidelines: Only one speaker per organization. Testimony that threatens, intimidates, or includes disparaging comments about Board Members, department staff, and other members of the public will not be allowed. Those that do so may be removed from the meeting or remote location.
