NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that on Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2024, the Wisconsin Natural Resources Board will tour and/or receive presentations at the following locations (NOTE: The public must pre-register with Board Liaison to attend scheduled tours. Registration information is located on the last page of the agenda. Exact tour schedule is subject to change): 1)  At approximately 9:00 a.m., the Board will meet at Hampton Inn Hotel, 3090 Village Park Drive, Plover, WI 54467 for welcome remarks from DNR West Central Region Secretary’s Director. 2)  At approximately 9:00 a.m., the Board will travel to the Mead Wildlife Center, 201517 County Road S. Milladore, WI 54454, for a tour of the center and lunch discussion regarding partnerships between wildlife staff and Friends Group. 3)  At approximately 12:35 p.m., the Board will travel to UW Stevens Point, 2100 Main Street, Stevens Point, WI 54481, for a presentation regarding UW-Stevens Point Forestry. 4)  At approximately 2:30 p.m., the Board will travel to Plover River Stop, Lat: 44.46799 0 N / Lon: 89.48834 0 W, for a presentation on Plover River Collaborative efforts, discussion of drought and high-cap wells, and to meet with Producer-led Groups. The Tuesday tours will end at approximately 4:30 p.m. No action will be taken.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at 6:00 p.m., the Wisconsin Natural Resources Board will have dinner at 13 Chairs Restaurant located at 137 North Main St., Amherst WI. No action will be taken.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Wisconsin Natural Resources Board meeting will convene at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2024, at Food + Farm Exploration Center, in the Ag Grand Hall, 3400 Innovation Drive, Plover, WI 54467. The Board will act on items 1-4 and 7 as listed on the agenda.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that matters concerning natural resource issues or the Department’s program responsibilities or operations specified in the Wisconsin Statutes, which arise after publication of this agenda may be added to the agenda and publicly noticed no less than two hours before the scheduled board meeting, if the Board Chair determines that the matter is urgent.
