NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, September 27, 2016, the Wisconsin Natural Resources Board will tour and/or receive presentations at the following locations (NOTE: The public must preregister with Board Liaison to attend scheduled tours. Registration information is located on the last page of the agenda. Exact tour schedule is subject to change). The Board will arrive at approximately 12:30 p.m. at the Comfort Inn and Suites, W10170 Highway 54 East, Black River Falls, WI and will receive a presentation on the history of the Elk project and Black River State Forest (BRSF). At approximately 1:15 p.m., the Board will arrive at Dike 17/Settlement Road parking area, Black River Falls; Topic: Recognition of partners in development of the Elk Reintroduction Project. At approximately 2:15 p.m., the Board will arrive at Peterson Fields, N. Settlement Road, south of Dike 17 (GPS coordinates: 44.288, -90.569), Black River Falls; Topic: Habitat management and elk monitoring. At approximately 3:15 p.m. the Board will arrive at Harkner and Son Cranberry, W5603 Cranmore Road, Black River Falls; Topic: Elk damage, abatement, fencing, etc. At approximately 4:10 p.m., the Board will arrive at the ATV/UTV Trail Head (N3645 North Settlement Road, Black River Falls; Topic: ATV/UTV trails on BRSF.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Natural Resources Board will have a social and dinner discussion with tribal leaders beginning at approximately 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday, September 27, 2016, at Ho-Chunk Casino, W9010 Hwy 54 E, Black River Falls.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Wisconsin Natural Resources Board meeting will convene at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 28, 2016, Comfort Inn and Suites, W10170 Highway 54 East, Black River Falls, WI. The Board will act on items 1-2 and 5-6 as listed on the Agenda.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that at approximately 10:15 a.m. on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at the Comfort Inn and Suites, W10170 Highway 54 East, Black River Falls, WI, the Wisconsin Natural Resources Board may convene in closed session under the authority of s.19.85(1)(g) Wisconsin Statutes to confer with legal counsel on strategy with respect to likely litigation. ADDED

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that matters concerning natural resource issues or the Department's program responsibilities or operations specified in the Wisconsin Statutes, which arise after publication of this agenda may be added to the agenda and publicly noticed no less than two hours before the scheduled board meeting, if the Board Chair determines that the matter is urgent.
