Willow River State Park
Little Falls Lake
Little Falls Lake is back to full level, however, it will take a couple of years for stocked fish to grow. Trout fishing is now closed.
Park staff do not monitor ice conditions and the upper end of the lake often remains open all winter.
The stairway and overlook at the falls remain closed.
Ski Trails are open and are designated for skiing only. Hiking, snowshoeing and pets are not allowed on the ski trails.

There are 6 miles of hiking trails available in winter. These trails are open to winter hiking, snowshoeing and pets.
Camping is open year-round in the 200 campground. During winter, campground roads are not plowed and campers must hike to their campsites.
Campers must self-register at the park office prior to set-up. Complete instructions and fees are posted in the window above the self-registration box and inside the bulletin board.
The 100, 300 and Group campgrounds are closed for the season and will reopen in spring 2021.
Drinking water is available at the service building. All vault toilets are open.
All other water systems (flush toilet buildings, shower buildings, drinking fountains and dump stations) are shut down for the season.
The park office is open weekdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and weekends from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for drive-up service. If the office is closed when you arrive, please self-register for vehicle admission stickers as needed outside the office. Annual stickers bought via self-registration may be picked up at the office the same day if the office is open. Annual stickers and any change due will be mailed promptly.
