Little Falls Lake

Little Falls Lake is back to full pool. Bass and panfish have been restocked for the past several years, however, it will take a couple of years for stocked fish to grow. Trout season begins May 4 and continues through Oct. 15, 2024.

All hiking trails are open. Trail conditions vary. The stairway at the falls is currently closed for repairs.

Mountain bike trails are open, however, temporary closures may occur due to weather or construction. Please stay off closed trails.

The Friends are continuing construction on a new mountain bike trail system in the park. Construction will take several years to complete. About 18 miles of trail are open. Trail conditions and more information is available on the Friends of Willow River and Kinnickinnic State Parks Mountain Bike Club website [exit DNR]. Contact the park office if you have an interest in volunteering.
