2026-2027 Construction Projects

Several facility improvement projects will be taking place at Pattison State Park through 2027. Updates to the construction projects will be posted to this page. (Updated 8/7/26).

• Campground Toilet/Shower Building: Construction of a new campground toilet/shower building is ongoing and will be taking place through 2027. Campers should expect noise Mondays through Fridays, during daytime hours. The campground and existing shower building will remain open during construction. Construction will take place during the week (Monday through Friday). During daytime hours, visitors will notice increased noise from construction equipment and equipment parked along property roads. Visitors should use caution around construction areas and keep out of any areas posted as closed. 
• Dam on Interfalls Lake: Reconstruction of the Black River dam on Interfalls Lake will begin in early 2027. Lake water levels, the swimming beach area and waterfall flow on Big Manitou Falls may be affected by this project. Dam reconstruction is anticipated to continue through 2027.
