Newport State Park
All trails at Newport State Park are open. Campsites 6-13 remain closed and are anticipated to open in June 2026. The southern part of the park experienced severe storms in August 2025 and hundreds of trees along the trails and campsites were blown down. Updated as of 5/19/26
