Kettle Moraine State Forest - Northern Unit

Climb Dundee Mountain along the Summit Trail to discover how the glaciers shaped the landscape of the Kettle Moraine. At eight interpretive stops, learn how the glaciers created such unique landforms as kames, moraines, kettles, eskers, drumlins and outwash plains. Be prepared for steep climbs, descents and stairs on this meandering 1-mile loop. The trail begins near campsite #944 in the Long Lake Recreation Area of the Kettle Moraine State Forest - Northern Unit.
